Third Sunday of the month
Where?
Beaumaris North Primary School,
Wood Street, Beaumaris.
9AM-1PM
No duplicate stalls
We’re keen to not have duplicate products or traders in each category, making it a better experience for both our traders and our shoppers.
We’ll be taking the best of the best and we’re also happy to offer casual placements on an ad hoc basis or pop you into the system if a long-term place becomes available as we expand the market.
Market Focus
The market is more than 80% food-based with an emphasis on Victorian produce.
Timing
9:00AM to 1:00PM
FAQs
The market takes place on a school oval.
For safety reasons, stallholders cannot remove their vehicles until 15 minutes after the end of the market
If you need electricity please bring your own (quiet) generator. We need to know by the Monday before the market so we can ensure your stall is further from the surrounding houses.
Please take all of your waste with you and do not pour anything away except for clean water.
The market is plastic bag and drinking straw free.
If we have to cancel the market (extreme weather/pandemic etc) we will notify you as soon as we can by text.
If you have already paid for your spot, this will be carried forward to the next market.
If the market is already running but has to be cancelled before 10:30AM, your stall fee will be credited to the next month.
Open-flamed BBQ’s are strictly prohibited, including the use of heat beads and/or hot coals.
Garden beds or vegetated areas are not to be walked over or sat on.
Trees are not to have anything tied or affixed to any part of the tree.
Balloons and polystyrene foam must not be used.
We require stallholders to commit to the market (and make payment) by close of business on the Monday before the market.
This is to give us time to make any changes to the layout and/or find an alternative stall if a producer cannot attend.
Payment will be made online.
The market has been setup and is being managed by the Rotary Club of Sandringham. There is no third party management company involved.
Everyone you see, will be a volunteer that has given up part of their day.
The proceeds from the market after costs, will be used predominantly for local projects.
It’s a new location and there are bound to be things we could do better, so we’d love to hear from you.
